I. Overview

SYB-3 BOD AutomaticAnalyzeristheuseoftheairpressuredifferencemethodforanewtypeinstrumentfordeterminingbiochemicaloxygendemand. Duetotheuseofsingle-chipmicrocomputermeasurementtechniquesandadvancedsensing,chemicaldilutionmethodsandinstrumentscanprovidecomparableresults,andeight-channel BOD measurement（mg/l）direct-reading,real-timedataandbiochemicalresponsecurvesforprinting,easytouseandmaintain,andotheradvantages. Isenvironmentalprotection ,petroleumchemicalindustry,healthcare,teachingandresearchinareassuchaswaterqualitymonitoringisaadvancedandpracticalanalysisoftheinstrument.

II . Workingprinciple

    Biochemicaloxygendemand（ BOD ） , Isundercertainconditions,throughreproductionofaerobicmicro-organismsinthewaterandbreathedissolvedoxygenconsumedbydecompositionoforganicsubstancesinwater. Water BOD valuesaregenerallysample 20℃place 5daystheamountofdissolvedoxygenconsumed（mg/l）, creditedas BOD 。

 Duringthemeasuringprocess,dependingonthemeasuringrangeselectionmeasuringrange,willsettheamountofvolumeofwaterpouredintotheflask,addtemperaturecontrol 20℃±1℃incubator,after 5 daysoftraining,throughbio-oxidationoforganicmatterinsamples,convertedintonitrogen,carbonandsulphuroxides. Inthisprocess,ranonlyonegascarbondioxidefromthewatersampleswerepreviouslyplacedinabottleofsodiumhydroxide（orpotassiumhydroxide）absorption. Therefore,reducetheairpressureinthebottleandisproportionaltotheamountofdissolvedoxygenconsumedbymicroorganisms,bymeasuringpressurechangestoget BOD values. Increaseordecreasetheamountofsamplestakencanincreaseordecreasethepressurereducingvalues,thisoperationeasierinawiderangeofaccuratemeasurementof BOD values. Changesinpressureintheflaskisdetectedbyasemiconductorpressuresensor,processingthroughsignalamplificationandsingle-chip,by LED displaycyclesthroughtheeightchannelsof BOD themeasurementvalue,aprintercanprintdatainrealtime,aftertheendoftheexperiment,youcanprintafull BOD Biochemicalreactioncurves.

IV,instrumentsandconstitute

Instrumentsbythehost,auxiliary,flasksandothercomponents,configureboththeincubatorcanbecompleted BOD Full-processtest. Hostsincludesingle-chipmicro-computersystem andtheLED display ,and printerandkeyboard,auxiliaryincludessemiconductorpressuresensor ,magneticmixers,amplifiers,andpipingsystems.

（A）preparatorywork

1 、 Openinginspection,accordingtopackinglisttocheckhost AndDeputy Andaccessoriesarecomplete.

2 Experimentalpowermeetsthetechnicalrequirementsoftheequipment,checking,ACvoltagestabilizershouldbeusedwhennecessary.

3 Andtoensurethesafetyandequipmentworkingproperly,poweroutletmustprovidereliablegroundingwire.

（B）thehostingpanelandtheuseoffunctionkeys

HostconsistsofninedigitalthreedisplayWindows,runtimedisplay Channelnumber 、 BOD Measuredvalues （ mg/L ）

Runningtime（h）,andisotherwisedefinedwhensettingparameters（seethefollowingentry）. Keyboardsbytenfunctionkeysandthetendigitkeys,whichoperateseightabovetheeightfunctionkeystotheleftofledlightpromptedthecurrentoperations,thismayalsodeterminewhatinstrumentsareinworkingcondition.

1、 Start:

setalltheparameters,pressthiskeyintheresetState,theinstrumentintoactionstarted.

2、 Reset:

whiletheinstrumentisrunning（thatis,inthecourseoftheexperiment）bypressingthisbutton,thisexperimentwillbeterminated,andclearthesaved

Theexperimentaldata（Note:

 Aftertheendoftheexperiment Pressingthiskey,younolongerprintprovidesdataandcurves）;intheprocessofsettingparametersbypressingthisbutton,whenconfirmedbythecarriagereturnisinputparameterwillbestoredandreturnedtopositiontofurtheraction.

9 、 Removal:

whenenteringaparameter,mismatchednumbersclickthisbuttontocleartheerroroncedata;whentheexperimentwasover,pressthiskeytoterminatethehostbuzzerstweet.

   （C）Equipmentinstallationandsystemcheck

1 、 Incubatorpowerispresenton,selectswitchtotheincubator'stemperature " Set " Position,adjustthetemperaturesettingknobsothatthetableoftemperatureindicating 20℃,then Setthetemperatureselectorto " Measurement " Location, Accordingtotheincubatorinstructionstocheckifitworkscorrectlywhencontrolledtemperatureof 20℃,precisionthermostatshouldmeet 20℃±1℃foruse.

2 ,Factoryprovidesadedicatedconnectioncabletotheinstrumentafterthehostsideofthesocketandtheotherendisconnectedtotheincubatorrearsidesocket. Putitintheincubator,Deputy,willbeprovidedinsidethebox（andhostisconnected）cableplugandauxiliaryconnected,connectedtomainpower（bypressingtheresetbutton）,theinstrumentshouldindicate"good".

3 Accordingtothe"hostpanelsandtheuseoffunctionkeys"asdescribedinthesection,separatelyforvaccination,range,timeand Modifyorconfirmtheclocksettingdata,poweroff,andthenturnthepowerbackonandchangeddatashouldbestoredproperly.Long-termunusedinstrumentincarryingoutthisexaminationshouldbepoweredonforaperiodoftimeinordertochargethebatteryinsidethemachine,otherwisedatamaybelost.

4 、 Pressthestartkey,theinstrumentshouldbeabletocyclethroughthe 1 ～8 Channel BOD Measuredvalue（itshouldbe 0 Value）.

5 、 Takeaflaskandaddappropriateamountoftapwater,tiltabout 4 5 °IntheBlender,bottleinturnintotheauxiliaryengineof 8 testposition,observedmixedrotation,watergym.

6 Canexperiment,thesechecksarenormal.

VI,analyticalmethodsandprocedures

（A）preparation,fourinorganicsalts

Take 4 1000 ml Cleanvolumetricflasksetaside.

1、 Buffersolution

Dissolvingthefollowingreagentwithdistilledwateranddiluteto 1000 ml

（1） 、21.75 g Potassiumphosphate,dibasic （k2HPO4）

（2） 、8.5 g Potassiumdihydrogenphosphate （KH2PO4）

（3） 、33.4 g Sodiumphosphate,dibasic（ N a 2 HPO 4 · 7 H 2 O Humidityinthe 61.0 7 %~80.51%stable）

（4） 、1.7 g Ammoniumchloride（ NH 4 Cl ）

2 Andmagnesiumsulfatesolution

Dissolvedindistilledwater 22.5 g Magnesiumsulfate（ MgSO 4 ·7H 2 O ）Anddiluteto 1000 ml.

3 Andcalciumchloridesolution

Dissolvedindistilledwateris 27.5 g Calciumchloride（ CaCl 2 ）Anddiluteto 1000 ml.

4 Andferricchloridesolution

Dissolvedindistilledwater 0.25 g Ferricchloride（ FeCl 3 ·6H 2 O ）Anddiluteto 1000 ml 。

（B）sample BOD Measurementofthe

1 ,Anticipatingspecimenswhicharetobe BOD Arangeofvalues,selectthecloserange. Ifunknown,thesamplescanbe COD value,andtherebydeterminetherange（usually samplesof BOD valuesforsamplesofthe COD valueof 0.8 times. BOD 1000mg/L ,microbialsamplescontainingsufficientoxygen,withoutvaccination,eitherdirectlyaccordingtotheselectedmeasuringrange,foundsamplesfromthesamplingscaleweight. Dependingonthenumberoftestsamples（upto 8
