一般过去时

一、用法

1.表示过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态。

2.表示过去经常或反复发生的动作，可以与always,often,sometimes等频度副词连用。

二、表现形式

1.句中含有be动词，则be动词改成was（主语是第一或第三人称单数）或were（主语是第二人称或第一、三人称复数）。

2.如果句中有实义动词，使用实义动词的过去式。

ShewenttoJinanlastSunday.上周日她去济南了。

3.句式转换

（1）含有be动词的一般过去时态的各种句式：

①肯定句：

主语＋was/were＋其他．

Lindawasthirteenlastyear.去年琳达13岁。

②否定句：

主语＋was/were＋not＋其他．

Marywasnotgoodatmath.玛丽不擅长数学。

③一般疑问句：

Was/Were＋主语＋其他？

肯定回答：

Yes,主语＋was/were.

否定回答：

No,主语＋was/were＋not.

（2）含有实义动词的一般过去时态的各种句式：

①肯定句：

主语＋动词的过去式＋其他．

②否定句：

主语＋didn't＋动词原形＋其他．

Mymotherdidn'tgotoworkyesterday.昨天我妈妈没去上班。

③一般疑问句：

三、一般过去时的时间状语

1.yesterday及相关短语yesterdaymorning/afternoon/evening;thedaybeforeyesterday

2.“last＋时间名词”lastMonday/month/week/night/year…

3.“一段时间＋ago”threedaysago;fouryearsago…

4.“介词＋表过去的时间”in1999;onthemorningofJuly1st…

5．常见的其他时间状语：

justnow（刚才）;attheageof6（在6岁时）;oneday（一天）…

四、动词过去式的变化规则

1.规则变化

（1）直接在动词后加ed。

help→helped;play→played;want→wanted;thank→thanked

（2）以不发音的字母e结尾的词，直接加d。

hope→hoped;like→liked;use→used

（3）以“辅音字母＋y”结尾的词，变y为i，再加ed。

study→studied;carry→carried;worry→worried

（4）以重读闭音节结尾，且末尾只有一个辅音字母的词，先双写该辅音字母，再加ed。

stop→stopped;shop→shopped

2.不规则变化需要特殊记忆

go→went;do→did;see→saw;say→said;fly→flew等。

一般过去时态的特殊疑问句

一、定义

以疑问词开头，对句子中某一部分进行提问的句子叫作特殊疑问句。

常见的疑问词（组）有what,who,whose,when,where,which,why,how,whattime,whatcolor,howold,howlong,howmany,howmuch,howoften,howsoon等。

二、答语

回答特殊疑问句时，不能用yes或no简要回答，而要针对问句所提问的内容作相应的回答。
