只是，并非是所有国家都将5月1日定为劳动节，即便是在同一天，具体的庆贺方式和适应也大不相同，让咱们一路来看看其他国家是怎么度过劳动节的。

那是1886年，美国工潮的中心是芝加哥。

5月1日的全国性大罢工使美国的经济陷于瘫痪。

3年后，也确实是1889年，在巴黎召开的国际工人大会将5月1日定为“国际劳动节”，以纪念以芝加哥为主导的美国工人大罢工。

尔后，5月1日便成了全世界性工人团结的象征。

　　此节源于美国芝加哥的工人大罢工。

1886年5月1日,芝加哥的20多万工人为争取实行八小时工作制而举行大罢工,通过艰苦的流血斗争,终于取得了成功。

为纪念这次工人运动,1889年7月14日,由各国马克思主义者召集的社会主义者代表大会,在法国巴黎隆重揭幕。

大会上,与会代表一致同意:

把5月1日定为国际无产阶级的一起节日。

这一决议取得世界各国工人的踊跃响应。

1890年5月1日,欧美各国的工人阶级率先走上街头,举行盛大的示威游行与集会,争取合法权益。
