Ananimalrescueserviceteamsoonarrivedinatruckwithheavyliftingmachinery,tohelpmovetheanimal.Jakeandhisfamilycouldn'tdomuchonthebeach,sotheywentbacktotheirhouseandmadesandwichesandhotteafortherescuers.Atleast,Jakethought,theycouldhelpinsomeway.

Backatthebeach,theyofferedthefoodtotherescuersandwerehappytoseethatitwasneeded.Itwasgettingdark.Somepeoplelineduptheircarsalongthebeachandshinedtheheadlightsonthesand.Therescuerswouldnotgiveup.Aftertryingmanytimestheywerefinallyabletoliftthewhaleintothewater.Everyonecheeredwhenitheadedouttosea.Itswamoutaboutamileandthendisappearedforamomentunderthesea.Then,inwhatlookedlikeajumpofjoy,itrosehighabovethewater—athankyoutothosewhohadworkedsohardtosaveitslife.
