探究发现
(1)动词ing形式有一般式(doing)和完成式(having_done)两种。
(2)动词ing形式的一般式所表示的动作与谓语动词的动作之间一般没有时间先后之分,如例句①。
动词ing形式的完成式所表示的动作通常先于谓语动词发生,如例句②、③、④、⑤和⑥。
一般情况下,非谓语动词的逻辑主语是句子的主语,倘若非谓语动词有自己独立的逻辑主语,则构成独立主格结构,如例句⑦。

一、动词ing形式的时态、语态及意义

动词ing形式的一般式也可以表示先于谓语的动作,但是一般两者之间没有时间间隔,而其完成式则表示与谓语动词所表示的动作有明显的时间间隔。

二、动词ing形式作状语
动词ing形式作状语,与句子主语在逻辑上是主动关系,即句子主语是动词ing形式表示的动作的执行者。
