1.GeneralRules
1.0.1Thiscodeisusedforinspectionandmanagementforsomenonferrousmetalvalvesincludinggeneralpetrochemical–industrialcastiron,carbonsteel,alloysteelandstainlesssteel,aswellascopper,aluminumandtitaniumoneswithdesignpressureof400Pa(absolutepressure)~42Mpa(gaugepressure)anddesigntemperatureof–196~850℃beforetheyaremounted.
1.0.2Thevalveinspectionshallbeconductedaccordingtothedesigndocumentationunlessotherwisespecifiedinit.
1.0.3Therelativeexternalinspectionstandardshouldbefollowedforthevalvesproducedincompliancewithexternalstandardwhentheyareinspected.
1.0.4Safetytechniqueandlaborprotectionforvalveinspectionshouldbecarriedoutaccordingtothecoveringregulationsincurrentnationallaws,standardsand<>SH350.
1.0.5Forvalveswhichareproducedaccordingtothecurrent<>SH3064orAPIStandardwithrelativecertificationidentification,andsupervisedformanufacturingandacceptedinthemanufacturer’splantbythecustomer,checkforqualitymaterialandvalvetestspecifiedinthiscodecanbeconductedbythenumberof5%ofeachbatch(notlessthan1piece)priortomounting,andinspectionshallbeperformedforthemonebyoneifthereareproblems.
2.ValveInspection
2.1Generalregulations
2.1.1Thevalvesmustbeaccompaniedbyqualityverificationdocumentation.Manufacturer’snameplateshallbelocatedonthevalvebody,identificationssuchasmanufacturer’sname,valvetype,nominalpressureandnominalthroughdiameter,etcshallbeonthenameplateandvalvebodyandtheyshouldconformtotheregulationsin<>GB12220.
2.1.2Theverificationdocumentationofproductqualityforthevalvesshouldconsistofthefollowing:
1.Manufacturer’snameandex-factorydate;
2.Name,typeandspecificationofproduct;
3.Nominalpressure,nominalthroughdiameter,suitablemediaandtemperature;
4.Followedstandards,inspectionconclusionanddate;
5.Ex-factorynumber;
6.Signatureandstampingbyinspectorsandtheleader.
2.1.3Valveswithlow-temperaturesealingtestoperatedaccordingtorequirementsofdesignshouldbeaccompaniedbymanufacturer’slow-temperaturesealingtestcertificate.
2.1.4Magneticparticleandrayinspectionsforcaststeelvalvesshouldbeagreedbetweenthecustomerandsupplier.Ifitisnecessary,thesuppliershalloperateaccordingtotheinspectionstandardrequiredbythecontractandmaketheinspectionreport.
2.1.5Forthestainlessvalveswithintercrystallinecorrosiontestbeingoperatedaccordingtotherequirementsofdesigndocument,themanufacturershouldprovidetheintercrystallinecorrosiontestcertificate.
2.1.6Appearanceinspectionmustbeimplementedbeforethevalveismounted.
2.2Appearancecheck
2.2.1Forthetransportationofvalve,openingandclosingpositionshouldconformtothefollowingrequirements:
1.Valvesincludinggatevalve,globevalve,throttlevalve,controlvalve,butterflyvalveandfootvalveshouldbefullyclosed.
2.Closingcomponentsofthecockvalveandballvalveshouldbeallinfullyopenposition.
3.Diaphragmvalveshallbeinclosingpositionandnottootightlyinordertopreventthediaphragmfromdamaging.
4.Bladesofcheckvalveshouldbeclosedandfixed.
2.2.2Phenomenasuchasdamage,lackofparts,corrosionorpull-offofthenameplateforthevalvesmustn’tbepermitted,anditmustnotbedirtyinsidethevalvebody.
2.2.3Thereshallbeprotectivecoveronthetwoendsofvalve.Thehandleandhandwheelshouldbeflexiblyoperatedwithoutanyjam.
2.2.4Whenthevalvebodyismadefromcast,itssurfaceshouldbesmoothandevenwithoutanydefectssuchascrack,shrinkagecavity,blister,porosityorblur,etc;whenitisforging,thereshouldnotbeanydefectssuchascrack,sandwich,cold-lap,scarormissingfilletonitssurface.
2.2.5Movementofthebladesorcoreforthecheckvalveshouldbeflexibleandaccuratewithoutanyeccentricity,shiftingoraslant.
2.2.6Spring-typesafetyvalveshouldhaveleadsealingandlevertypesafetyshallhavethelocationdevicefortheweight.
2.2.7Rubber-lined,enamel-linedandplastic-linedinnersurfaceofthevalvebodyshouldbeevenandsmooth,theliningandbaseshallbebondedfirmlywithoutanydefectsincludingcracksandbubble.Theliningshallbequalifiedifitisn’tsparkedover(whiteflashoccurs)whensurfacesoftheliningarecheckedonebyonebymeansofhigh-frequencysparkigniter.
2.2.8Flangesealingfaceofthevalveshouldmeettherequirementswithoutradialscratch.
2.3Checkandtestforvalvedriver
2.3.1Forthevalvesusedforthegearandwormgeartodrive,theirdrivingmechanismshouldbecheckedandcleanedaccordingtothefollowingrequirements:
1.Thewormandwormgearshouldhavegoodengagementandoperateflexiblywithoutjamorexcessivewearing.
2.Thegearmatingsurfaceandbearingoftheopeningtypemechanismshouldbecleanedandfilledwithnewlubricationgrease;
3.Valveswithclosingtypemechanismshouldbecheckedby10%samplingandnotlessthan1piece,insidethemechanism,itshallbeclearwithoutdirtandwithcompleteparts,drivingcomponentshavenobluraswellasclearanceamongallpartsandthematingsurfaceshouldconformtotherequirements.Ifproblemsarefound,thedrivingmechanismofthisbatchofthevalvesshouldbecheckedonebyone;
4.Openingthecovertocheck,thelubricationgreaseofthisbatchofthevalvesshouldbereplacedifitisfoundtodeteriorate.
2.3.2Forthevalveswithchainwheelmechanism,itscentersurfaceofchainsupportandchainwheelshallkeepinconsistence.Checkchain’soperationaccordingtotheworkingposition,itsmovementshouldbesmoothandnotoutofslot,thechainshouldhavenodefectssuchasdecyclization,sealingoff,rustinessornonconformancewiththechain’spitch.
2.3.3Theairpressureorhydraulicdrivenvalvesshouldhaveairorwateras
