Besidesthethrillofwatchingyourbobber(浮标)dipbelowthewater,lunchwasalwaysthehighlightoftheday.Momwouldfrypororhamburgersonagrill.Thesmellofcooingmeatwastheenvyofeveryotherfishhouseintheneighborhood.Ourdayspassedwithamiofquiettimeandfamilychatter.Wetaledaboutthefarmorschool.Andofcourse,wesharedfishingadvice.MybrotherandIalsotoobreasandeploredthesnowandice.Wewerecarefulnottomaemuchnoiseontheiceclosetothehouses,asweallweresurethatitwouldscarethefishaway.
