利用世界名著,拓宽英语阅读夏春来

  世界名著,尤其是来自英美国家的世界名著,由于其语言的地道、用词的准确,是中学生培养良好的英语阅读习惯,提高人文素养和英语水平的重要源泉。

为此,我们应从以下几方面做起。

  

  一、挑选合适的阅读版本,制定科学的阅读计划。

  

  世界名著由于时代久远,而且使用语言比较陈旧,往往给读者,尤其是中学生读者带来很大阅读困难。

因此,找到适合中学生阅读水平的读物是开展英语阅读的前提。

建议同学们使用以下简体版英语阅读读物。

  二、了解故事发生的背景,体会文字背后的寓意。

  

  世界名著很多为长篇小说,其故事情节复杂,人物角色繁多。
