Inordertounderstandhowthisworks,agroupofscientistsattheGermanPrimateCenterandtheUniversityMedicalCenterGo..ttingeninGermanyconductedanexperiment.Inthestudy,theparticipantswereaskedtolookatpatternsonascreenwhosedirectioncouldbeinterpretedindifferentways,suchashorizontally(水平地)orvertically(垂直地).Whenonepatternwasabouttodisappearandthenextonewasabouttocome,theparticipantshadtoindicatethedirectionthatthenextpatternwouldappear.
