本话题围绕孩子们游览天安门广场而展开。
主要内容包含:
Michael邀请Darren来中国度假、孩子们游览天安门广场、描述游览过程及发生的事情。
通过描述游览过程和写游览日记来引入时间状语从句。
通过介绍天安门广场来学习方位的表达。

教学设计思路:
本课继续学习时间状语从句和方位词。
首先让学生介绍学校的平面图来复习方位词。
然后通过讲故事的方式一边复习时间状语从句并学习更多的引导词,同时把新词汇展示出来。
解决了词汇以后呈现1b图片让学生预测故事情节。
随后让学生读1a来检验预测结果并同时完成1b,1c。
接着组织学生处理1a中的重难点,最后再次运用图片来引导学生复述1a完成本课时的教学任务。
