AnotherkeytrendwearewitnessingistheoutsourcingofanimationtoAsia,especiallybyNorthAmericanfilmandtelevisionprogramproducers.ThemajorfactorbehindthisshiftcontinuestobetheavailabilityofpowerfulcomputeranimationplatformsandmuchlowerlaborcostscomparedtoNorthAmericaandEurope.Thebulkoftheoutsourcingisfor2Danimation,withsomefor3Daswell.
