Scientistscollectedsnowandwatersamplesfrom19differentlocationsfrom4,200metersabovesealevelallthewayuptothetopofMountQomolangma.Theyfoundmicroplasticsinallthewatersamplesandpartofthesnowsamples.ThemostpollutedsamplewasfromtheBaseCampinNepal,wheremosthumanactivityonthemountainisconcentrated.Ithad79particlesofmicroplasticsperliterofsnow.
