Yeah,Ihave.InhistoricaltimesitwasacentrefromwhichgovernmentscontrolledthemountaintribesofwesternHunan.Acounty,namedLinyuan,wasestablishedthereinthe2ndcenturyBC.Andin1164itbecameasuperiorprefecturecalledChangde.Thisstatuswasretaineduntil1912,whenthesuperiorprefecturewasabolishedandthecitybecameacountyseat.
