1.Introduction

Withthetrendofeconomyglobalization,therelationshipbetweencountriesisbecomingcloserandcloser.Peopleconsideritimportanttoknowothercountries’cultureandmakemoneybymakinguseoftheinformationtheycanacquire.English,beinganinternationallanguage,functionsasthemostpopularandeffectivewayforthepeopleallovertheworldtocommunicatewitheachotherandacquireinformation.Thus,itiswidelyappliedbylotsofmediaintransferringnewsintheworld.Amongvariousmedia,newspaper,oneoftheoldestbuteasilyaccessiblemedia,standsoutfromotherinformativemediaandbecomestheimportantchoiceforpeopletoknowwhathappenedaroundorevensomewherefarawayfromthem.

Englisheconomynews（EEN）,asasub-varietyofEnglishnews,whichiscloselyrelatedtopeople’slifeandevenaffectstheirdecisionindailylife,hasgainedmuchattentionfromreadersthanothertypesofnews.Thisfunctionendoweditwithspecificlinguisticfeaturesthatdistinctitfromothernews.

EventhoughwesternmediaarequiteprofessionalizedinEnglisheconomyreports,itsnewsisstillnotobjectiveenoughtoconveyforeignreadersaboutrealChinafordifferentpoliticalbackground（许明武,2003）.SoitisnecessaryfortheChinesetotransferChinesenewsintoEnglishversionandshowinternationalreaderswhatrealChinais.Therefore,C-EeconomynewstranslationworkisessentialforproperandobjectivetransitionofChineseimpressiontotheworld.However,thehugedifferencebetweentwolanguageswithdifferentculturesblocksasmoothtransitionofinformation.Consequently,therehasbeenvalueinstudyofthestylisticfeaturesofEnglisheconomynewsandsomemethodsapplicableintherenderingprocess.

Thispaperismainlycomposedoffourparts,includingtheintroduction,thestylisticfeaturesofEnglisheconomynews,C-Etranslationmethodsappliedandtheconclusion.ThefirstpartistheintroductioninwhichtheeffectofthejournalisticEnglishtopeople’slifeandworkispresented.ThesecondparttakesaclosedanalysisonthestylisticfeaturesofEnglisheconomynews.ThethirdpartintroducesthetheoryoftranslationthatappliedinC-Eeconomynewstranslationandtheapplicabletranslationmethods.Thefourthpartistheconclusion.

2.StylisticfeaturesofEnglisheconomynews
