Anewstudyonthesubject,aprojectoftheUniversityofWashington’sInstituteforLearning&BrainSciences,examinedwhetherparentscanbeeffectivelytaughtmethodstoimprovetheirparenteseskills.

NajaFerjanRamírez.workingintheInstituteforLearning&BrainSciences,saidthattheparentsinvolvedintheresearchwerefirstshowntheimportanceoflanguageinputfortheirbaby’sdevelopment.Parentswerethengivensuggestionsonhowtousedifferentparentesemethods,andthenratedonhowwelltheyusedthesemethodswiththeirchild.Sheaddedthatthenewstudyisimportantbecausetherearestilla1otofparentswithlittleknowledgeabouthowtouseparentesetohelptheirchild.Thiswasonereasontheresearchersincludedparentsfromdifferentculturalandeconomicgroupings.
