Thismanualisprovidedtoserveastheinstallation,operationandmaintenance

guidefortheequipmentsuppliedinaccordancewiththedetailsgiveninthe

customer'spurchaseorder.Thecontentsshouldbereadbeforeattemptingany

phaseofinstallation,operationandmaintenance.

Theequipmentandanyoptionalitemsarepackedindividuallyforassemblyby

thecustomer.Unpackcarefullyandcheckallitemsreceivedagainsttheinvoice.

ThisequipmenthasbeentestedandqualitycontrolledinaccordancewithPall

standardproceduresandalsoinaccordancewiththetestsspecifiedinthecontract

whenrequired(i.e.forspeciallydesignedequipment).However,theequipmentas

shippedmayhavebeenopenedordisassembledfordraining,cleaning,etc.,after

testing.Thecustomershouldsatisfyhimselfthatnonuts,bolts,flanges,pipes,

closuresoranyothercomponenthaveworkedlooseduringshipment;theseshouldbetightenedwherevernecessary.

Anameplatehasbeenpermanentlyattachedtotheequipment.Whenrequestinginformation,serviceorspareparts,pleaserefertotheinformationgivenonthisplate.

Itistheuser'sresponsibilitytocheckactualoperatingconditionstoensurethatthefilterelements,vesselandsealingmaterialsarecompatiblewiththeapplicationandarewithinlocalsafetycodes.

Abstract

ThisunitdesignedbyPall,isdedicatedforfiltrationandwaterremovalofturbineoil.Itincorporatestogetherthefunctionsoffinefiltrationandhighefficiencywaterremovalofoil.Itcaneffectivelyremovesomesolidparticlesandemulsion,freewaterinoil.Afterthat,theoilcleanlinesslevelisuptoNASLevel6,andthecontentoffreewatermaybelowerthan100PPM.

Functionsofthisunit:

1.Filtrationcirculation:

couldbeusedassolidparticlefiltrationequipmentindependently.

2.Waterremovalcirculation:

couldremovetheemulsionandfreewaterinturbineoil.

Featuresofthisunit:

1.No-watchrunning:

Itcanrunsmoothlyduringnormaloperationafterdebugging,whilerequiringnobodytowatchit.

2.Automaticemergencyalarm:

Itcanautomaticallyalarmandpromptoperationmethodswhenabnormalconditionoccursandmaintenanceisneeded.

3.Automaticemergencystop:

Itcanautomaticallyshutdownthesystemwhenaseriousemergencyoccurs.

4.Systemstatusdisplay:

Thehuman-computerinterfacecandisplaycurrentandpreviousoperationdata.

5.Telemetryunitstatusdisplay:

Realtimedisplayofunitstatus.

Theoryofthisunit:

1.Filtrationtheory:

HighperformancePallUltiporIIIfiltersincorporatestate-of-the-artdesigntechnology,includingauniquepatented“helicalwrap”pleatsupportsystemandcompositeelementstructureforunsurpassedstrength,performanceandservicelife.Theresultisacost-effectivesolutionclearlysuperiortotraditionalfilterdesigns.

2.Waterremovaltheory:

Whenoilentersthecoalescer,firstlyitenterscoalescerelement.Freewaterandemulsifiedwaterbecomelargerdropsofwaterafterpassingfilterelementduetothepeculiarpolaritymoleculesincoalescerelementmaterials.

BeforeOilentersseparatorelementabove,relativelylargewaterdropsinoilhave

fallentothewaterbagbelowduetogravity.Therearestillsomerelativelysmall

waterdropsgouptoseparatorelementwithoilduetoinertia.Separatorelement

ismadeupofspecialhydrophobematerials.Whenoilpassesseparatorelement,

waterdropsarekeptoutside.Thenoilentersseparatorelementandgooutfrom

theoutlet.Waterdropsgatherandbecomelargerandatlastfallintothewaterbag

duetogravity.
