Psychologicaltestsreflectdifferentlearningstylesinthisnewstudentpopulation,too.Eachpersonhasacertainlearningstyle,andabout60percentofthenewstudentsthesedayspreferthesensingstyle.Thismeanstheyareverypractical.Theypreferapractice-to-theorymethodoflearning—experiencefirstandideasafterthat.Theyoftenhavedifficultywithreadingandwritingandareunsureofthemselves.Mostofthesestudentsareattendingcollegebecausetheywanttohaveagoodjobandmakealotofmoney.
