   McClurestartedtheGoFundMepageonNovember10.Withthepage,thecouplehopedtoraise$10,000,enoughmoneyforhisrent,areliablevehicleanduptosixmonths'expenses.Bobbitt'sstoryraninalocalpaper.ByNovember15,morethan10,000localpeoplehadmadedonationsthroughtheGoFundMepageandmorethan$300,000hadbeenraised.
