1.教材分析
本模块以Basketball为话题,介绍了篮球知识和一些中外篮球明星。
篮球是世界性的运动项目,也是最受欢迎、集娱乐与锻炼身体为一身的大众活动。
作为游戏,它是一项人们喜闻乐见的全民健身活动的手段,具有活跃身心和健身强体的功能;作为竞技体育运动,其意义在于它是一项实施奥运争光战略的重要竞技项目,通过强者间的对抗与拼斗,能显示生命的活力,激励人们树立顽强的意志、勇敢的作风、集体主义精神和克服困难、自强不息、为国争光而夺取胜利的信念。
对培养勇敢、机智、组织纪律性、集体主义精神和爱国主义情怀都有益处。
虽然篮球是最安全的运动项目之一,但也有危险。
通过本模块的学习,同学们还可了解中外运动员赛场上的不同风格。
1.1INTRODUCTION介绍篮球规则和NBA组织,为本模块的学习奠定了良好基础。
1.2READINGANDVOCABULARY包括两篇文章,分别介绍篮球巨星MichaelJordan和WiltChamberlain。
1.3SPEAKING要求学生小组谈论美国的NBA和篮球运动。
