重点语法:
1.表数量多少的比较级的使用:
fewer,less.
2.使用“will/won’t+动词原形”表示对未来的预测。
学习一般将来时的正确表达。
重点、难点讲解:
1.一般将来时:
“Will+动词原形”的表达。
一般将来时表示将来某个时间要发生的动作或存在的状态,也表示将来经常或重复发生的动作,常与表将来的时间状语连用。
对将要发生的事、或打算、计划、决定要做的事情,用“begoingto+动词原形”表达。
口语中多用此形式表将来,且这种表达表示一个事前考虑好的意图,相当于中文的“打算、计划、准备”。
而“will/shall+动词原形”表示未经事先考虑的意图。
书面语中当主语为第一人称I/we时,常用“shall”。
而口语中所有人称和数都可用“will”。
willnot=won’t.
以前我们还学习过用进行时表将来的表达。
一般将来时句型如下:
(1)肯定句:
主语+will/shall+动词原形。
(2)否定句:
主语+will/shallnot+动词原形。
(3)疑问句:
Will/Shall+主语+动词原形?
注意:
对疑问句的回答用will或shall,但是在肯定回答中用不能用缩写,如I’ll,只能说“Yes,Iwill.”因为will与shall在句末不能用缩写。
2.“therebe”句型一般将来时的表达。
肯定句:
Therewillbe+名词(短语)
否定句:
Therewillnot/won’tbe+名词(短语)
一般疑问句:
Willtherebe+名词(短语)?
-Yes,therewill./No,therewon’t.
注意:
由于will后接动词原形,因此在“therebe”句型一般将来时的句中will之后用be动词的原形,即“be”一词,无论后面是单、复数或不可数名词(短语)。
e.g.Therewon’tbeanypapermoney.
Therewillonlybeonecountry.
Therewillbemoreleisuretime.
3.fewer与less及more表数量的用法。
(1)few(形容词)“几乎没有,很少的”,修饰可数名词。
其比较级、最高级为规则变化:
few-fewer-fewest。
“afew”表示“一些”,“few”带否定含义,“几乎没有”。
例:
afewdaysago,forafewweeks,
Hehasfewfriendshere.
Therewillbefewertrees.
(2)little(形容词)“很少的,几乎没有的”(“小的,幼小的”),修饰不可数名词。
其比较级、最高级为不规则变化:
little-less-least。
“alittle”表“一些”,“little”带否定含义,“几乎没有”。
例:
There’slittlefoodleft.Wehavetobuysome.
There’salittlewaterinthecup.
Therewillbelesspollution.
Hefinisheditwithintheleasttime.
(3)many“许多”,修饰可数名词。
much“许多”,修饰可数名词。
many/more比较级、最高级为不规则变化:
many/much-more-most。
例:
Ihavemanymagazines.Shehasmoremagazines.Buthehasthemost.
Therewillbemorepeopleontheearthinfuture.
Moreandmorestudentsstarttoexercisemoreeverydaytokeepfit.

注:
except“除了”,不包含其后的事物或人,而besides表“除了”含义时包含其后的事物或人。
例:
AllthestudentspassedtheexamexceptTom.BesidesTom,MaryandPeterwillcometothedinner.Shejustsitsbesidemeintheclassroom.We’redeskmate.NowIcan’thaveanypetsbecausemymotherhatesthem.Besides,ourapartmentistoosmall.
5.Predictingthefuturecanbedifficultaswellasembarrassing.Thereweremanyfamouspredictionsthatnevercametrue.JackWarner,thecreatorofWarnerBrothersmoviesintheUnitedStatessaid,“Noonewillwanttoseeactorstalk.”TheheadofthelargestcomputercompanyintheUnitedStatessaid,“Noonewillwanttohaveapersonalcomputerinhisorherhome.”In1949,theheadoftheRoyalAcademyofArtsaid,“TheworkofPicassoandMatissewillneverbeworthanything.”
