1.—What’sthescore?

比分是多少?

—Spainscoredaminuteago.西班牙(队)一分钟前得分了。

在第一个句子中,score是名词,意思是“比分,进球数”;第二个句子中的score是动词,表示“得分,进球”。

例如:

多音节形容词和部分双音节形容词的比较级形式是在词前加more。

“What’sthematter?

”意为“怎么了?

”,后面跟宾语时要加介词with,即What’sthematterwithsb./sth.?

miss用作动词,含义比较广泛,可以表示“未击中,未达到;错过”,

也可表示“思念;想念”。

表示“错过”时,后面跟v.-ing形式,不能跟不定式。
