时态区分
一般现在时、一般过去时和现在完成时。
观察下列句子。

可以看出:
1.经常性、习惯性的动作,用一般现在时。
谓语动词为am/is/are或其他动词的一般现在时形式,常与always,often,usually,everyday等状语连用。
2.在过去某个时间发生的行为,用一般过去时。
谓语动词为was/were或其他动词的过去式形式,常与yesterday,lastyear等表示过去的时间状语连用。
3.过去发生的动作对现在造成的影响,或表示某一行为或状态从过去某时间一直持续到现在,谓语为“have/has+动词的过去分词”,常与already,yet,just,ever,“for+段时间”或“since+表示过去的点时间”等状语连用。
相关区别
1.一般现在时与一般过去时的区别
一般现在时表示现在的状态或经常性、习惯性的动作,常与表示现在意义的状语连用;而一般过去时表示的动作或状态都已成为过去,常与表示过去的时间状语连用。
如:

2.现在完成时与一般过去时的区别
现在完成时在表达经历时只表示该事件是在过去的某时间发生的,重点在于已完成的动作对现在造成的影响或结果;而一般过去时则只表示过去发生的动作或存在的状态,和现在没有关系。
所以,表示过去的时间状语只能与一般过去时连用,而不能与现在完成时连用。
