1.1ProjectSummary

1.1.1Sitecondition

TheSiteofGENERALDIRECTORATEislocatedinTheapproximateareaofsiteissquaremeters.

Theclimateinthesitetischaracterizedbyextremelyhotanddrysummers,withanaveragedailytemperatureofabout45-degreecentigrade,andmildtocoldwinters.

1.1.2Scopeofwork

A.GENERALDIRECTORATEincludingGeneraldirectorateprisons,Generaldirectoratecivildefence,Generaldirectoratepasspoart,Specialsecurityforcescommand,Generaldirectorateborderguard,Generaldirectoratetaskforce,Generaldirectoratepublicsec,Generaldirectorateofdrugs.

ThescopeofworkunderthisContractcomprisesoftheconstruction,completion,commissioning,handoverandmaintenanceofworksrelatedtothe“GENERALDIRECTORATE”.

TothesatisfactionoftheOwner.

1.2Constructionschedule

1.2.1Constructionperiodandkeydates

Totalconstructionperiodoftheprojectis720days.Constructionprogressshallcomplywiththefollowingrequirements:

tocompletebuildingconstructionfromthebasementtothefirstfloorinabout270days,tocompletebuildingroofingandenclosureinabout925days,tostartequipmentcommissioninginthe1140thdaysincethecommencementoftheproject,tocompletelandscapeworksin930days.

1.2.2Detaileddescriptionofconstructionprogram

ItisassumedthatthecommencementdateoftheprojectwereSept.15,2010andthecompletiondateoftheprojectwereMar.17,2014,havingatotalconstructionperiodof1280calendardays.Detailsaregivenasbelow:

1.2.3Constructionstrengthanalysis

Sinceconstructionofmen’sandwomen’scampusesshouldbecarriedoutinaparallelwayandissubjecttotherestraintofthegivenconstructionperiod,largevolumeofexcavationandconcreteplacementshouldbedoneattheearlystage.Monthlyconcreteplacementis34,000m3,takingplaceinDec.2010,andMonthlyexcavationis93,000m3,takingplaceinNov.2010.

1)Watersupply

Sourceforconstructionandlivingwatershouldbethelocalcitywatersupplysystem.Watershouldbecarriedtoeachworkingfacebyfirewaterpipelineandwatersupplypipelineateachbuilding.

Waterforconstructionshouldbemainlyusedforbricklaying,plastering,formwashing,concretecuring,constructionmachineryandlivingpurpose.

(1)Waterforconstruction

Subjecttoplannedconstructionstrength,watersupplyatrateof20L/Scansatisfyconstructiondemand.

(2)Waterforliving

Basedonthepeaknumberofconstructionpersons,watersupplyatrateof2.36L/scansatisfythelivingneed.

(3)Waterforfirefighting

Basedontheworkscaleofthisproject,supplyrateoffirewatershouldbeq3=10L/s.

PipeforlivingwaterandfirewatersupplyshouldbeDN100pipeandPipesizeatthefirehydrantshouldbeDN70.

PipequantityDN100500m,DN701000m,Φ50hosepipe2000m.

2)Firefightingsystem

Thesamewatersupplysystemshouldbeusedforsupplyingwaterbothforfirefightingandforsiteconstruction.Firehydrantsystemshouldbeadoptedforfirefightingonsite.Inaddition,firefight
