Thefirstpillarisbelonging.Belongingcomesfrombeinginrelationshipswhereyou'

revaluedforwhoyouareandwhereyouvalueothersaswell.Formanypeople,belongingisthemostessentialsourceofmeaning.

Forothers,thekeytomeaningisthesecondpillar:

purpose.Findingyourpurposeisnotthesamethingasfindingthatjobthatmakesyouhappy.Adoctortoldmeherpurposeishealingsickpeople.Manyparentstellme,“Mypurposeisraisingmychildren.”Thekeytopurposeisusingyourstrengthstoserveothers.Withoutsomethingworthwhiletodo,peopleflounder,thuslosingtheaimoflife.
