Thisspecificationisdevelopedmainlybasedontherelated3GPPspecificationsandsomevendors’testspecifications.

Thisspecificationisapplicableforthephaseoneofthe3Gtechnicalexperiment.

Whentesting,thesignalingflowcanbemonitoredintheUu,IubandIuinterfaceorinthetestmobile.IfintheIu,Iubinterface,theprotocolanalyzerisneededanditisabletoanalyzethelayertwoandlayerthreemessageofUuinterface.Ifinthetestmobile,thetestmobileisabletomonitorthemessagereceivedandtransmitted,anditcananalyzethelayer2andlayer3messages.
