按两次回车，然后屏幕出现如下信息：

将光标定位于Acceptabovechoices回车,屏幕出现如下提示:

将光标定位于OK处,按回车,屏幕显示:

Checkingsystemstateandloadinginstallationfiles.

经过一系列信息显示,屏幕出现如下提示:

KeyboardUSEnglish（选择英语键盘）

将光标移于Acceptabovechoices处回车，系统出现如下提示：

Typeinthelicensenumberandlicensecodeexactlyastheyappearonyourcertificateoflicenseandauthenticity.（提示输入许可证上的序列号和活动码）

将SCOOpenServer的许可证上的序列号和活动码输入以上相应位置,然后在Acceptabovechoices处按回车,系统出现如下显示:

Laterintheinstallation,youcanchoosewhethertopreservethecurrentdiskpartitions,additionaloperationalsystems,andanynon-rootfilesystem.

在continue处按回车,屏幕出现如下

选择合适的系统名字和域名,替换dbserver和,若希望系统安全级高一些,可将光标移于traditional处按空格键,选择相应的安全级别,再将光标移于TimeZone处,按空格键,选择Asian,再按空格键选择Chinastandardtime,按回车,系统回到原来提示画面。

在下列提示中按空格键选择Yes或No：

Yes（选择安装缺省的标准企业版系统）

LightweightCharacterTerminal:

No

Database:

Yes（要在系统上安装数据库，选择Yes，否则选No）

在Acceptabovechoices处按回车,系统又出现如下提示:

将光标定位于Disk0,xxxxMB,（以2G硬盘为例，xxxxMB应为2.048MB）Partition—Filesystem:

usewholediskforUNIX处,按空格键,选择customize回车,屏幕显示:

（在这里进行硬盘及文件系统分区，按应用系统情况或局里统一规定，选择root区和各u分区大小，u分区名极其挂接目录名。

boot区和swap区可按缺省值或统一规定值,下面只是一个例子）

将光标移于3,然后按回车,敲入u1,回车,系统自动将其挂接目录名设为/u1,再将其size设为400,以同样方法,设置u2文件系统,其大小为1110MB,最后的设置结果如下所示:

网卡、显示卡、鼠标）

在Autodect处按空格键,选择Defered,然后将光标移到Mouse处,按空格键选择HighResolutionKeyboardMouse（一般国外品牌的机器其鼠标类型为键盘鼠标---High/LowResolutionKeyboardMouse，而普通组装兼容机的鼠标类型为串口鼠标---SerialMouse）回车,在Acceptabovechoices处按回车,出现下一屏:

在typein处,敲入自定的系统管理员口令,注意,一定要把系统管理员口令保存好,不能忘记,也不能泄露给非系统管理员。

连续敲入两次,在Acceptabovechoic回车,出现下一屏:

在OK处按回车,然后系统进行硬盘文件系统的划分设置,设置完毕,屏幕显示:

此时正式开始安装系统软件，此后不再需要输入任何字符，安装人员现在也可以休息了。
