1.1Objectives

OurobjectiveinexecutingthisprojectistomobilizesufficientresourcesandexertallrequiredeffortinordertoensurecompletionoftheProjectinaccordancewiththerequirementssetintheContractandwithinthetimeframesetintheTenderDocument.

EmphasisonQualityandSafety

Inpursuingtheaboveobjective,greatemphasiswillbeplacedonthequalityofdeliveredproductandHealth,SafetyandEnvironmentalissues.QA/QCandSafetysub-organizationsareincorporatedwithintheProjectOrganizationtodevelopandimplementrelevantprocedures.

InthissectionwehighlightthemajorelementsoftheScopeofWork,detailofwhichareclearlyoutlinedintheTenderDocuments.

ThescopeofworkcoversconstructionworksofGTC/644A/2014-ExtensionofDistributionNetwork（Phase6-PackageA）

InlinewithKahramaa’scommitmenttoprovidecustomerswithhighqualitywaterservice,thereisanurgentneedtoextenddistributionnetworktoDohaandtherapidlygrowingremotecommunitiesallovertheStateofQatar

ItisenvisionedthatifpipedwatersupplywillreachtheruralareasofMekaines,Duhail,BuGhawan（Shahaniya）,Muaither,UmmGrainAlKhor,andotherareaslocatedallovertheStateofQatar,itwillsignificantlyreducethenumberofconsumersmostlydependentfromthedeliveryofwatertankers,resultingtoanefficientwatersupplyserviceintermsofqualityandsufficientservicepressure

Accordingly,KahramaaisurgentlyimplementingGTC644/2014-ExtensionofDistributionNetwork（Phase6）projectwhichisdividedintotwo

3.PROJECTORGANIZATION

TheproposedprojectorganizationstructureindicateshowtheProjectManagementTeam（PMT）isorganized.ThePMTisgenerallybasedonsiteandfullydedicatedtotheProject.ThePMTislogicallydividedintotwomajorgroups:

ConstructionandTechnical.Herebelowisadescriptionofkeypersonsofthisorganization.

Theorganizationofactivitiesisbasedonthepremiseoflumpingallinterdependentactivitiesunderoneunitsuchthatinterfacingandcoordinationbetweenthevariousunitsiskepttoaminimum.SupportActivitiessuchassurveying,asphaltproduction,plant,rebarcuttingandbending,carpentryworkshop,screens,crushers,scaffoldingpre-cast,etcarealsogroupedinamannertominimizeduplicatedsupervisionandinterfacecoordination.

4.MOBILIZATIONANDLOGISTICS

Wewillallowadequateperiodfromnoticetocommenceforourinitialandprimarymobilizationandinadditionduringthisperiod,preparetheinitialsubmittalsforlongleadmaterialduringtheearlystagesoftheproject.Weareplacingimportanceon"

suppliers/subcontractorsparticipatinginthisearlymobilizationperiodandwouldtherefore,motivatetheirearlyappointments.These,howeverarescheduledaspartofthesubmittals/approvalprocessesinconjunctionwithandinconsultationwitheachsubcontractappointmentduringthedevelopmentandpreparationontheContractMasterProgram,whichmustbesubmittedwithinaspecificperiodfromthenoticetoproceed

4.1TemporaryFacilities

Mobilizationwillbeinaccordancewiththecontractrequirementswherealltemporaryfacilitiesrequiredfortheexecutionofpermanentworksareputinplacewithinthemobilizationperiod

Weplannedtoprovidethetemporarysitewithtelephonesuitablenumberoftelephonelinesandsets

Allarrangementswillbemadeforthesupplyanddistributionoftemporarylightingandpowertothesiteforallpurposesinconnectionwiththecontract

4.4Sewagesystem

Allnecessaryarrangementswillbemadeforthedisposalofsewagewaterincludingtheconstructionandinsta
