Tothinkpositivelyaboutourprospects,wemustfirstbeabletoimagineourselvesinthefuture.Optimismstartswithwhatmaybethemostextraordinaryofhumantalents:
mentaltimetravel,theabilitytomovebackandforththroughtimeandspaceinone'
smind.Althoughmostofustakethisabilityforgranted,ourcapacitytoenvisionadifferenttimeandplaceisinfactcriticaltooursurvival.
