完形填空
新课标教学标准要求学生能够运用所学知识重建或把握相对独立的文章板块.
完形填空就是测试考生利用短文保留的部分,综合运用所学知识,依据上下文重建文章的能力,说白了就是从一篇难度适中的短文抽去若干个单词,让你在所给的A、B、C、D四个选项中挑出最佳答案,使其恢复原貌.
做好完形填空考生至少要注意培养自己的两种基本能力:
1.运用英语语法的能力.2.对短文语篇、语义准确理解的能力.当然,还要掌握一定量的固定搭配、短语和词组等.
完形填空以考查实词为主.其中以动词为是多次,其次是名词、形容词、副词、词组、及固定搭配等.它多以语篇线索为主,词、句线索为辅.完形填空所选文章一般含有一定量的生词.难度一般低于阅读理解的短文.
要做好完形填空,应遵循以下步骤及答题方法:
1.通读全文,把握大意
做题前,应将短文从头至尾跳过空格快速通读一篇,了解大意.切忌在未把握文章大意前使匆匆填空答案.边读边填会打断阅读的思路,影响对全文大意的理解,其结果是只见树不见林、欲速则不达.势必无法从整体上把握全文概要,造成顾此失彼,既影响准确率,又影响做题速度.做题时应当认真阅读全文,抓住主题句,了解背景知识,对处于空格位置的词语进行分析和判断,以便理顺思路,为后面答题做好铺垫.
2.瞻前顾后,综合考虑
在通读全文、了解大意的基础上,便可着手答题,初选习惯用法、固定搭配,并从上下文中找关键性启示,前后对照,根据语感等先选出比较容易的答案.有些题设计巧妙,由下文暗示上文,很有可能开头的空格所填入的选项不一定成立,要到文章末尾才能得到答案.反之亦然,文末的空格有可能在上文找到相关或有关联的答案.
3.每空细读,分析斟酌
逐句细读,逐题分析选项,有少数空格需多方面地推敲分析,如词义分析、固定搭配分析、语法结构分析、上下文推理分析等,通过多度考虑选择最恰当合理的选项.
4.复核全文,验证答案
所有的答案选出之后,应再读全文,对所选的答案进行核实调整,经过第二步的逐步推敲之后,对短文内容的理解更为深刻,最初选择时有些难解或误解的问题这是就很容易判断,众而也就能得到更好解决,并清除疏漏.这一步费时不多却很有必要.
