ThisunitcentersonGreatscientists,includingsomescientistsbothathomeandabroadlikeJohnSnowandCopernicus.Thestudentsshouldbeencouragedtopractisetalkingaboutthesescientists.
Thewholeunitcanbedividedintosevenparts:
warmingup,reading,listeningandspeaking,languagefocusing,readingandwriting,grammar,andassessment.
Inwarmingup,thereisaquizforthestudentstodo,whichwillarousethestudents’interestinknowingaboutthefamousscientistsandhelpthestudentstoknowscienceisveryimportantinourdailylife.Groupdiscussionandbrainstormingwillbeusedinthisperiodtohelpthestudentstocommunicatewitheachotherusingtheirpreviousknowledge.
