提纲:

P1:

作为21世纪最重要的发明,计算机已经在一些生活领域普及并成为必须,但在教育界却不竟然。

尽管计算机辅助教育广泛应用,教师在课堂上仍然不可少。

P2:

虽然一些学科计算机可以成功地运用于教学。

例如:

基础数学,基础语言学习,任何一种需要学生通过重复来记忆的领域都非常适合计算机教学。

通过程序,计算机可以毫不厌倦地提供各种问题给学生,通过这种方式强化知识;

但是,一些复杂的理论(complexideas)不能被计算机传授。

计算机可以判断(determine)哪个答案是对错,但不能告诉学生错在哪里,也不能以另外一种方式解释这个定义。

Onasubstantivelevel,itisoftenthecasethatteacherscanbenefitstudentsinmanywaysthatcomputerscannot.Indeed,teachersoftenbringstudentsahostofknowledgeandideasoutoftextbooks,suchasethics,issuesinhumanbehaviorandsuchkindofthings.eveniftherewerenohardevidencetosupportthepointthatteachersareusuallyservingastheguideforstudents,arolewhichcanneverbeperformedbycomputers,thereareplentyofvividexamplesthatsupportit.WhenIwasstudyinginthehighschool,oneofmyteachershelpedmewithmystudyandtaughtmehowtodealwithdifficultiesinmylifeaswell.Sothesebenefitsareimpossibletobegainedfromcomputers.

Inaddition,amoresubtlepointcanbemadeisthatyoungstudentsaremoresusceptibletotheadverseinfluenceofcomputers.itisageneralprinciplethatjuvenilesusuallylackinthesenseofjudgmenttotellrightfromwrong.sotheymaybemorelikelytobedistractedfromstudybythelurethatcomesalongwithcomputers.Therefore,teachersaresuperiortocomputersincultivatingstudents.

Althoughitisallverywelltosuggestthatteachersinvariablyenjoythemostcriticalroleinfosteringyoungpeople,letusnotlosesightofthedramaticmeritsbroughtonbycomputers.andcomputersdoopen thefrontiersofthedevelopmentofeducation.

nevertheless,Iamstillinclinedtotakesideswiththeopinionthatteacherscannevergivewaytocomputers.asissooftenpointedout,thesignificantthingistomakecomputersfacilitateteachers’job.
