a.132/33/11KV,ONANrating25/25/18MVA,ONAFrating50/50/35MVA,outdoormounting,3phase.50Hz,uniforminsulation.1324x2%KV(HVtapson-loadoperating9Nos.oftaps),mineraloilimmersedequippedwithBCT.Thesupplyoftransformerwillalsoincludesuitablesize(sizewillbeconfirmedduringdetailEngineering)ofMSrailforplacingoftransformeronfoundation.DuringsubmissionofthebidthetechnicaldatarequirementofBPDBshallbefullycompliedbythebidder.IncaseofanydeviationobservedinbidderstechnicaldatafromUser’stechnicaldata,thebidder’sbidwillbedeclarednon-responsive.Thebidderwillprovide1(one)engineerforexpertserviceduringinstallation,testingandcommissioningofthetransformerfor15days.ThefollowingspecificationarepreparedbasedontheexistingonewithaviewtoprocureanidenticalonebecausebothwillruninParallel.SuccessfulBiddermayvisitGhorasalpowerstationfortakingnecessarydataformexistingoneexternallybymeasurementfordetailengineering.

f.Valuesofresistancereactanceofthetransformershallnotbedeviatedbymorethan2%(twopercent)oftheBPDB’Srequirementsandthecore&

h.TheinsulatingoilshallmeetallrequirementsasdefinedbyNEMAstandard/B.S.shallbechemicallystable,freefromacidityandothercorrosiveingredientsandshallposseshighdielectricstrength.Oilforfirstfillingshallbeshippedinnon-returnabledrums.10%ofthequantityrequiredforatransformeristobesuppliedinadditionduetousuallossesduringinstallationcentrifugingetc.
i.Thetransformertankshallbeofweldedconstructionfabricatedfromhightensilesteelplateandshallbedesignedtowithstandfullvacuum.
j.Thetransformershallhaveairsealcelltypeoilconservatortank(theoilsurfaceiscompletelyisolatedfromtheatmospherebyinstallinganoilresistantrubbercellintheinterioroftheconservator)atthetop.Transformerwillbeprovidedwith2separateconservators(1formaintankandanotherforOnloadTapChanger),whichwillbehavingprovisionformountingseparateMOLG.OneparttobeconnectedwithtransformermaintankthroughBuchholtzRelay(withcocksonbothside)andtheotherpartwithOLTCtankthroughanothergasRelay(withcockeitherside).Bothwillhaveoillevelindicate(visual)withcontactsformedicating“LOWOILLEVEL”inthecontrolpanel.
k.PressureReleaseDevicesforbothMainTankandOLTCTankshallbeprovided
l.SilicagelBreatherwithglasswindowshallbeprovidedforbothhalvesoftheconservatorlank.
m.TheOn-loadTapChangeroperatingdeviceshallbeequippedwithlocal(manualandelectrical)andremoteelectricaloperatingdevicewithappropriateinterlocking.TheOLTCmotorshallbe3-phase400Voperatingtype.Themechanicalpositionindicationshallbetherebothatthetapchangeraswellasontheoperatingdevice.ContactsArrangementsshallbethereforremotepositionindicator(bydigitaldisplaysystem)ofthetap.Appropriateglandsfortheentryofcontrolcableshallbeprovided.
n.SufficientCoolingFans(3-phase,400V,50HZ)ofadequatecapacityshallbefittedonthebodyofthetransformerforcoolingpurposetoachievetheONAFratingovertheaverageambienttemperatureof400C.ThereshallbeacontroldeviceinweatherproofhousingfittedonthebodyofthetransformerandequippedwithcontrolrelayoperatedbysensingdeviceofoiltemperatureinsidethetransformerandoperaterequisiteNo.offans.Besidethereshallbemanualswitchingdeviceofcoolingfans.
o.TheRadiatorsshallbeinbanks,whichcanbefilledwithorremovedfromthebedsoftransformertank.SufficientradiatorsshallbeprovidedtoachievetheONANratingataverageambienttemperatureof400C.Eachbankofradiatormusthavetwostopvalveoneofwhichshouldbefixedatthetopandtheotheratthebottom.
p.Besidethemaincomponentsofthetransformertheotherfeaturesandaccessoriestobeassociatedwhichareasfollows:
(i)Inspectionholewithcover.
(ii)Manhole.
(iii)Nameplatewithcompletediagramsandmainspeculations.
(iv)Upperandloweroilvalvesoilsamplingvalveanddrainvalve.
(v)Laddertoclimbuptotopwithbarrieratthebottom.
(vi)Thermometerforsendingoilandwindingtemperatureanddisplay:
WTIshallhavetwocontactsamongthemonewillbeusedforalarmcircuitandotherwillbesuitableforintercroppingofHVandMV/LVCircuitBreaker.
(vii)AllHV(132KV)terminalsshallbeprovidedwithappropriateconnectingclampstobeconnectedwith636MCMACSRconductors.TheLV(33KV)terminalsshallhavealsoconnectingclampsappropriateforbeingconnectedwithone636MCMACSRconductor.Theneutralterminalshallhaveconnectingclampstobeconnectedwith2/0HDBSwire.Thesizeofconductorsmaybechangedduringapprovalstage.
(viii)Thereshallbefourwheels(flangetype)suitableformountingonrailsandtocarrythetransformerasawhole.
(ix)Thetransformershallhaveatleasttwogroundingterminalsonitsbody.
AllferrouspartsofthetransformershallbegalvanizedorpaintedwithappropriatepaintsofMUNSELLNO-5Y7/1.Transformerwithmaximumshippingheight(notexceeding11feet)willbepreferred.
q.Onesetofextragasketsandonesetbushingofeachtypeistobesuppliedwiththetransformerlotwithoutextracost.
r.Thelosscapitalizationofpowertransformerwillbedonebythefollowingformulaforevaluation.
