“Teachersareincreasinglytakingthetaskoflookingafterchildren’shealthandwell-beingratherthanbeingallowedtogetonwiththetaskofeducatingthem.Childrenareencouragedtoassumetheirrelationshipswithotherchildrenaredamaging,andencouragedtolookupontheirclassmateswithsuspicion.”Sheadded:

“Ifwetreatchildrenasiftheycannotpossiblycopewithhurtfulexperiences,thenwewilllikelytoweakentheirconfidenceandmakethemlesslikelytocopewithdifficulteventsinthefuture.Ineffect,wewillpreventthemfromgrowingup.”
