managementinformationsystemisacomputerhardwareandsoftwareresources,manualwork,analysis,plancontrolanddecision-makingmodelanddatabaseman-machinesystemcanprovideinformationtosupporttheoperationandmanagementofthebusinessororganizationanddecision-makingfunctions."
thisdefinitionisacomprehensivedescriptionoftheobjectivesofthemanagementinformationsystem,functionsandcomposition,butalsoreflectsthemanagementinformationsysteminthelevelreachedatthetime.
