Abstract

Withthedevelopmentoftheworld,especiallyofthoseEnglish-speakingcountries,therecomelotsofnewEnglishwordsthatgraduallybecomeagloballanguage.KnowingmorenewEnglishwordshelpsuspromotecommunicationandfriendshipwiththeworld.Andsincethispropositionisarelativelynewone,Ichooseitasmythesis.ThisthesisiswrittentostudynewEnglishwordssimply.Itisdividedintothreeparts,namelytheemergence,formationandtranslationofnewEnglishwords.

ThefirstpartdiscussestheemergenceofnewEnglishwords.Therearefourmaincauses,namelypoliticalchanges,economicdevelopment,thedevelopmentofscienceandtechnology,andtheculturalcause.Asthesocietyischangingcontinuouslyandthepoliticsarebeingperfected,manynewEnglishwordsarecreatedtoadapttothenewsituation.ThecomingoftheglobaleconomicunificationandthefasteconomicdevelopmentoftheworldalsobringuslotsofnewEnglishwords.Whenacertaininventioncomesuptoanewstage,newEnglishwordsaboutitwillemergeandbewidelyused.Thewordsandlanguageofanationreflectitsculture.Cultureisthebasicelementofanation.Therefore,theimprovementsofculturealsobringmanynewEnglishwords.
