andthereisthispeculiarityinsuchasolitude,thatthetravellerknowsnotwhomaybeconcealedbytheinnumerabletrunksandthethickboughsoverhead;
sothat,withlonelyfootsteps,hemayyetbepassingthroughanunseenmultitude.
