AstheheavysnowcontinuestofallhereinnorthcentralPennsylvania,thisiswhatofficialshereareprimarilyworriedabout,thesnowkindofbuildinguponthefoliage.Thefullfoliageinalotofthetreesthathaspoppedout,ofcourse,sinceit`slateApril,whenthesnowreallystartstobuildupinthisandinotherareas,it`sgoingtomakethetreesvery,veryheavy.
Someofthetreesareexpectedtocollapseandfallontopowerlines.Thathasalreadyhappened.Wearetoldthatmorethan20,000customersinthisareaofnorthcentralPennsylvaniaarewithoutpower.Theyhaveabout200crewsfromthepowerandelectriccompanyPenelec,fanningoutalloverthisarea.Asfortheroadshere,themainroadsinthisgeneralareastillarepassable,obviously.
