有两种提问方法：
1）How’stheweather?
2）What’stheweatherlike?
Answers：
用Itis…句式（it表天气），也有两种表述方式：
1）
It’s+动词-ing（用现在进行时表示“天正在……”）
It’sraining.（在下雨）/snowing（在下雪）/blowing（在刮风）/thunderingandlightening（雷电交加）
2）
It’s+形容词（表示天气状况或温度）
It’ssunny（晴朗）/windy（刮风）/cloudy（多云）/rainy（下雨）/snowy（下雪）/fine（晴朗）/overcast（阴）.
It’scold（寒冷）/humid（潮湿）/warm（温暖）/hot（热）/chilly（微冷）/close（闷）/hotandclose（闷热）/cool（凉爽）
2．英国人特别喜欢谈论天气，几乎成了见面的必说直言，那么如何问天气呢？
下面是谈论天气的一些常用语。

（询问天气的一般用语。
它们适于熟人、朋友或家人之间，用来了解过去或将来的天气情况。

今天天气很好，不是吗？
（英国人见面聊天时常用这句话打开话题。

3）Howis/How'

/情况怎么样？

这里的how与“How'
stheweather?
”中的how一样，都是用来询问状况或情况的。
动词go在这里的含义是“（事情）进展，进行”。
e.g.Everythinggoeswell.一切顺利。
3．巧学妙记（现在分词构成歌诀）
现在分词用途多，进行时态不可缺。
它的构成很好记，动词后缀-ing。
词尾若有哑音e，去e再加没问题。
一辅重读闭音节，这个字母要双写。
还有一点要注意，改ie为y再加-ing。

3．onvocation
美国英语习惯用语，一般vocation表示一段时间，故不再用变复数。
holiday假期，英国英语常用的词汇。
一般是几天的休息，如各种节日或休假日。

4.sunny/windy形容词。
1）.表示天气的形容词多数是由名词＋形容词后缀－y构成的：
cloud—cloudy（多云的）rain----rainy（有雨的）wind—windy（有风的）fog—foggy（有雾的）sun---sunny（晴朗的）snow—snowy（下雪的）
2）.由名词+y构成形容词，类似的还有：
fun—funny（有趣的）health---healthy（健康的）luck—lucky（幸运的）
5.Thatsoundsbeautiful.
1）sound（听起来）这里是连系动词，后跟形容词作表语。
类似的系动词有look（看起来），smell（闻起来）,taste（尝起来），feel（感觉），
get,turn,become（变得）等。
如：
Hisfatherlooksveryyoung.她看起来很年轻。
Thecakecaketastessweet.这蛋糕尝起来很甜。
