三、设计理念

本着《普通高中英语课程标准》强调课堂教学注重学生自主性、互动性、探究性的原则,首先运用任务型教学法,课前布置学生上网搜索与东西方艺术有关的信息资料,在教学过程中完成相关的教学任务。

其次,重视语篇教学。

本篇文章主要介绍了西方绘画简史上不同历史时期的艺术流派、艺术特点及其代表性的画家和作品等。

根据文章特点,从文章体裁入手,采用表格、中心句引导学生分析语篇段落结构,把握文章主题脉络,并深入语篇,归纳出不同阶段的艺术特点。

第三、加强阅读技巧的训练。

设计跳读、速读、细读等教学方法培养学生不同的阅读方式和策略,由浅入深,由表及里,先篇章后语义的顺序进行阅读。

最后,设计了读后活动,让学生合作性讨论自己家最喜欢的艺术风格和原因,充分发挥学生的想象力、创造力和合作精神,懂得如何去欣赏艺术,竞争机制的引入也让课堂气氛非常活跃。

然后以语篇方式回顾课文内容,检验学生的课堂效果,加深学生对课文的印象。

由于WarmingUp,Pre-reading,Reading和Comprehending四部分都是关于西方绘画简史的内容,可以整合为一节阅读精读课。

在阅读教学中通过设计活动、任务完成、互助探究等,结合新课标对学生能力的要求,兼顾多种能力的培养设计成了一节阅读精读课,整个教学设计都贯穿对学生情感、态度和价值观的正面教育。

设计意图:

我们知道兴趣多是由疑惑和好奇心所激发出来的。

针对这个实际,结合单元的话题“艺术”,通过问答和合作性学习,然后“头脑风暴”,旨在激发学生思维,充分调动其积极主动性,为下面的阅读做好准备,从而达到“一石激起千层浪”的效果。

这样的导入自然流畅,气氛比较热烈,学生能够大胆表述意见,积极参与课堂活动。

艺术图片欣赏,实际上是让他们更加熟悉中国的本土文化艺术,了解西方艺术,从而在老师的引导下总结中西方艺术的差异。

设计意图:

引导学生利用所学过的阅读策略,在了解大意之后,从时间顺序来了解西方艺术发展的四个阶段,把握每个阶段的显著特点和代表人物、代表作,让学生头脑里形成一个比较清晰的知识网络,对表中每个阶段关键词的填空,也有助于学生及时把握文章脉络。
