完成听力时你发现了thebiggest，thebest，themostcomfortable等，它们叫做形容词的_________级。
最高级形式的构成
（1）单音节词和部分双音节词在原级后加-est构成，具体情况如下：
①单音节词及部分双音节词在词尾后加-est。
great--greatestclever--cleverest
②以e结尾的单词，在词尾后加．st。
nice--nicestfine--finest
③以辅音字母’y结尾的单词，把y变为i，再加-est。
happy—happiestheavy--heaviest
④重读闭音节单词末尾只有一个辅音字母的单词，双写最后的辅音字母，再加-est。
hot--hottestbig--biggest
（2）绝大多数双音节和多音节形容词前面加most构成最高级。

（3）不规则变化
少数形容词（和副词）的比较级及最高级变化不规则，我们要熟记。
good／well-~better---*bestbad／ill／badly-~worse--*worst，
many／much-+more--+mostlittle---less---~leastfarther--*farthest
形容词最高级的用法:
形容词最高级用于两个以上的人和物进行比较,其结构形式为:
主语+谓语（系动词）+the+形容词最高级+名词+表示范围的短语或从句。
Sheisthebeststudentinherclass. 她是班上最好的学生。
ShanghaiisoneofthebiggestcitiesinChina.上海是中国最大城市之一。
Tomisthetallestboyinhisbasketballteam. 汤姆是他们篮球队中个子最高的孩子。
形容词最高级用法
用法：
当需要对三者或三者以上的人或事物进行比较，表示“最……”的含义时，需要用_________级。
我们在使用最高级时应注意以下几点。
1、形容词最高级前通常要加定冠词_________，但如果最高级前有物主代词、名词所有格等修饰时，则不用定冠词。
如：
（1）Mondayismybusiestday.
（2）JimisMike’sbestfriend.。
2、形容词最高级常与介词in或of引导的短语（说明比较范围）连用。
若介词后的名词或代词与句中的主语是同一类人或物时，常用of短语。
当强调是在某一范围、场所内进行比较时，常用in短语。
（1）Sheistheoldestofthesechildren.
（2）Lilyistheyoungestinherclass.
3、形容词最高级前可用序数词进行限定，共同修饰后面的名词，其结构为：
the+序数词+形容词最高级+名词。

副词比较级和最高级的用法：
1.原级主要的句型：
（not）as/so+副词原级+as
TomrunsasfastasJones.

2.比较级的用法：
1）比较级+than。
当前后使用的动词相同时，通常用助动词来代替后面的动词，该动词或助动词可以省略。
LilyrunfasterthanMary（did）.
2）比较级+and+比较级,表示“越来越…”
Thedaysaregettinglongerandlongerinsummer.
3）themore…themore…表示“越…就越…”
Theharderyouwork,thebetteryouwilllearn.
3.最高级的用法：
副词最高级前一般有the，Heworks（the）hardestofallthestudentsintheclass.
形容词副词比较级最高级使用注意事项
◇比较应在同类事物之间进行。
误：
YourEnglishisbetterthanme.
正：
YourEnglishisbetterthanmine.
◇比较级前可以有一个表示程度的状语，最常见的三大修饰词是：
alittle,much,even。
以下单词也可用来修饰：
any,far,still,alot,yet,rather,绝对不能用very，many来修饰

特别提醒：
very,quite,too不可修饰比较级。
◇避免重复使用比较级。
