BusinessEnglishterminologyisacollectionoftitlesusedtorepresentconceptsinaparticularbusinessdomain.Itisakindofcommonlanguagesymbolthatexpressesordefinesscientificconceptsthroughspeechorwords.Evan-Zoharproposedtheconceptofpolysystemtheory,andstudiedanddiscussedmanyfactorsaffectingthetranslationprocessandthemultiplecriteriaoftranslation.Translationisapolysystemconsistingofmultiplelevelsofelements（orsubsystems）,eachelementinthesystemiscentered,someareintheedgeposition,eachelementisconstantlycompetingwitheachother,competingforthecentralpositioninthesystem.Theelementsinthesystemarenotisolatedfromeachother,butarerelatedtoeachother,overlapeachother,andworktogether.BusinessEnglishterm-translationalsoconformstothistranslationcriterion.BusinessEnglishterminologytranslation,becauseofdifferentEasternandWesternmodesofthinking,differentsocialcustoms,anddifferentreligiousbeliefs,makesitslanguagefeaturesmoreobvious:
