本课时主要以阅读教学为主线，以任务型教学模式培养学生的阅读理解策略，主要分为两类活动：
一类活动的任务是针对性地训练阅读技巧，这些技巧包括预测所读内容，抓住主题大意，抓住特定细节，根据上下文猜词义，推断隐含意义识别语段过程等。
另一类活动的任务是表达与展示，小组活动并由小组代表讲解文中所给的实验，在展示中检验和指导学生自主学习能力和语言应用的实际操作能力。
同时针对学生阅读理解障碍，在教学中进行知识的输入、技能的培养和文化意识的渗透，以及良好学习策略的指导。
