Note

IfyouselectUsedynamicmagnetizationdata,theImportmeshcheckboxisautomaticallyselected,andtheSetupLinkbuttonbecomesactive.AftercompletingtheSetupLinkdialog,youmayunselecttheImportMeshifdesiredwithoutaffectingthelinkstatus.

IfyouselectedNonlinearB-HCurveandComputedynamicmagnetizationdistribution,thesolverfindstheworstdynamicdemagnetizationoperationpointelementbyelementduringtheentiretransientsolution,thenusesthedataforthetargetdesign.

Thedatalinkautomaticallyattemptstosolvethelinked(source)designifnecessary(ifnosolutionexists),thenautomaticallycopiesthemeshandnecessarydata(newvaluesforthemagnetizationvector)inthetargetdesign,andfinallyperformtherequestedcalculationinthetargetdesign.Thisdatalinkallowsyoutocalculatethemagneticfieldtobeperformedinadesignwith,forexample,modifiedsourceswhilekeepingthemagnetizationina"

frozen"

statecalculatedinadifferentdesign(thesamegeometryandmeshbutwithdifferentsources).

Thedatalinkusedtolinksourceandtargetdesignsusesdatacachingtechnology.Therefore,afterthedesignchanges,tomakesurethenewdata(fromthesourcedesign)isusedinthetargetdesign,right-clicktheAnalysisfieldofthetargetdesignintheprojecttree,andselectClearLinkedData.Thisflushesexistingdata.
