Tousetheemulatorinaprojectyoumustsetupthehardwarecorrectly.

2.UndertheNewControllerwindowtypeselectanEmulator–RSLogixEmulator5000Controller. 

GiveitanameandassignittothesameslotastheoneyouputintheChassisMonitorwhichinourexampleisslot2. 

ClickOK.

3.InRSLogix5000'

sControllerOrganizer,rightclickontheI/OConfigurationfolder,andthenclickNewModule.ThesoftwaredisplaystheSelectModulewindow.

4.OpentheOtherfolder.Selectthe1756-MODULEfromthemoduleslistandthenclickOK.
