2.形容词的比较级和最高级的变化规则
⑴单音节形容词和部分双音节形容词的比较级和最高级变化规则：

在词尾直接加-er或-est

以e结尾
加-r或-st
nice-nicer-nicest

以辅音字母+y结尾
变y为I,再加-er或-est

以一个元音字母+一个辅音字母结尾，且是重读闭音节
将最后的辅音字母双写再加-er或-est

⑵以ow,er,ly结尾的个别双音节词加-er,-est构成比较级和最高级
early-earlier-earliest,clever-cleverer-cleverest,narrow（狭窄的）-narrower-narrowest
⑶不规则变化:
good/well–better–best,bad/ill–worse-worst
many/much–more–most,little–less–least,far-farther/further-farthest/furthest
3.形容词比较级用法：
⑴比较级+than（比较对象可以是一个词，一个短语或一个句子）
Sheis___________________Kate.她比Kate重。
Daysare_________insummerthanthoseinwinter．夏天的白天比冬天的长。
⑵比较级+and+比较级，表示“越来越……”如：
冬天，天气越来越冷了。

⑶the+比较级+...，the+比较级+…越……,越……。
：
The_________youeat,the__________youare.你吃的越多，你就会越胖。
______________youwork,______________youget.你越努力，收获就越多。
你练得越多，做起来就变得越容易。

【注意】①比较对象要一致。

②如果比较对象相同，用that/those代替第二个比较对象。

③比较的双方不能重叠。
如：

4.fast意为“能够快速移动或行走的；
（动作）敏捷的”,比较级：
faster,最高级：
fastest;
muchfaster表示“快得多”。
可修饰比较级的副词还有：
alot/quite…得多,alittle一点儿…,even甚至更…,。
Tom比我早得多。

thebiggest最大的
形容词最高级用法：
三者或三者以上相比较，常用“the+最高级（+in/of/among表示范围的短语）”的结构。
其中of/among+比较对象的同类的名词或数词，in+表示范围或场所的名词。
周老师是我们学校最好的老师之一。

【注意】最高级可以与比较级之间转换。
