语法精讲

1.HeusedtoliveintheKowloonWalledCityinHongKong.

他过去住在香港的九龙城。

usedtodosomething.和beusedtodoingsomething.

usedtodo表示“过去常常做某事”如：

Iusedtogetupat6o’clock.ButnowIoftengetupat7o’clock.

Mygrandmotherusedtobeahistoryteacherinamiddleschool.

beusedtodoingsomething表示“习惯于做某事”如：

WeareusedtoreadingEnglishveryearlyinthemorning.

AreyouusedtolivinginBeijingnow?

beusedtodo表示被“用来做某事”，主语常常是物。

Aknifeisusedtocutsomething.

Mobilephonesareusedtocommunicatewithotherpeople.

2.Welivedtogetheruntil1960whenIgotmarried.我们一起住直到1960年我结婚。

getmarried表示“结婚”。

如：

Igotmarriedin1997.

marry可作为及物动词。

Shealwayswantstomarryarichman.

Whatkindsofmendoyouwanttomarry?

3.Hastheplacechangedalot?

那个地方变化大么？

*Change　为不及物动词，意思是“变化”。

ThingshavechangedalotinSuzhou.

Allofmyclassmateshavechangedduringtheseyears.

*changeinto表示“变成某物”。

Hetriedtochangeironintogold.

Waterchangesintosteamafteritboils.

*change作为名词。

Let’sgotoarestaurantforachange.

GreatchangeshavetakenplaceinChina.

4.Thenoisewasterriblewhentheplanetookoff.

当飞机起飞的时候，噪音是很可怕的。

Takeoff的意思是“起飞”；

land的意思是“降落”。

Takeoff还有另一个意思，脱下（衣服）。

You’dbettertakeoffyourcoatbecauseit’stoohot.

5.ManyofthemhavemovedtootherareasandIfeelabitlonelyfromtimetotime.他们中的很多人已经搬到了另外的地方，有时我觉得有点孤单。

Lonely的意思是“孤独的，寂寞的”。

alone的意思是“独自一人”。

Theoldmanlivedalonebutheneverfeltlonely.

Don’tfeellonely.Youhaveoursupport.

fromtimetotime意为“时不时，时而”，等于attimes,sometimes。

abit意为“有一点点”，修饰形容词。

abitlonely有一点孤单

abitof用来修饰名词。

abitofmusic一点音乐

6.现在完成时

现在完成时由助动词have/has后面跟过去分词组成。

现在完成时的两种用法。

（a）一直继续到现在的动作和情况。

我们经常用简单的现在完成时来表示过去开始的动作和情况，这个动作和情况一直延续到现在。

IhavelivedinGreecesince1976.

Wehaveknowneachotherforalongtime.

（b）已经完成的动作和事情

现在完成时常常用来表示已经全部完结的，过去的动作和事情，只是在过去的事情对现在仍有意思是才这么用。

ThePresidenthasbeenassassinated.（Thepresidentisdeadnow）

Ican’tgoonholidaybecauseIhavebrokenmyleg.（Mylegisbroken.）

现在完成时常常与不定的时间副词或表示时间的词组连用。

如；

ever,never;

before;

yet;

already;

allthisyear;

allmylife;

sofar;

duringthe20thcentury;

recently;

lately;

since;

for等等

请注意，since后面跟着提到某一点时间。

而for后面跟着提到一段时间。

Shehasworkedheresince1948.

Shehasworkedhereformorethan50years.

7.Iwasexcitedeventhoughwehadtowaitfortwohoursbeforewecouldgetintothehouse.尽管我们在进入房子以前不得不等上两个小时，我还是很兴奋的。

eventhough尽管，如：

Eventhoughit’shardwork,Ienjoyit.

TomtrieshisbesttostudyEnglisheventhoughheisn’tinterestedinit.

excited:

感到兴奋的，主语是人。

exciting:

另人兴奋的，主语是物。

apieceofexcitingnews

类似的还有：

interesting;

interested；

surprising;

surprised等等

8.Shedancedsobeautifullythateveryonescreamed.

她跳地如此的好以至于每个人都尖叫起来。

so……that……的意思是“如此……以至于……”。

Itwassohardthatwehadtostopthegame.

EverythingtherewassobeautifulthatIwantedtoliveinit.

Theboxissoheavythatnoonecanmoveit.

Heransofastthatotherstudentscouldn’tfollowhim.

so后面跟的是形容词或者副词

9.MumandIwenttoHelloKitty’shouseassoonaswearrived.

妈妈和我一到就去了HelloKitty的小屋。

Assoonas意为“一……就……”。

Allofusscreamedassoonaswesawthefamousstar.

Westartedtotakephotosassoonaswegotthere.
