比较两物体运动速度大小的关系（看两物体S—t图象中直线或切线的斜率大小）
2.v-t图像
从V—t图象中可求：
（1）任一时刻物体运动的速度
（2）物体运动的加速度（a与v同向表示加速，a与v反向表示减速）
（3）图线纵坐标的截距表示t=0时刻的速度（即初速度）
（4）图线与横坐标所围的面积表示相应时间内的位移。
在t．轴上方的位移为正，在t轴下方的位移为负。
某段时间内的总位移等于各段时间位移的代数和。
（5）两图线相交表示两物体在这一时刻速度相同
（6）比较两物体运动加速度大小的关系
3.图象与图象的比较：
图3和下表是形状一样的图线在s－图象与图象中的比较。
图象
①表示物体做匀速直线运动（斜率表示速度）。
①表示物体做匀加速直线运动（斜率表示加速度）。
②表示物体静止。
②表示物体做匀速直线运动。
③表示物体静止。
④表示物体向反方向做匀速直线运动；
初位移为s0。
④表示物体做匀减速直线运动；
初速度为v0。
⑤交点的纵坐标表示三个运动质点相遇时的位移。
⑤交点的纵坐标表示三个运动质点的共同速度。
⑥0～t1时间内物体位移为纵坐标。
⑥t1时刻物体速度为v1（图中阴影部分面积表示质点在0～t1时间内的位移）。
