SaxophonistKennyGisnowtheworld'

smostsuccessfuljazzmusician.Hewasbornin1956asKennyGorelickinSeattle,USA,andhelearnedtoplaythesaxophoneatanearlyage.Whenhewasjust15yearsold,hetouredEuropewithhisHighSchoolband.AfterstudyingatWashingtonUniversityhestartedhiscareerasamusician.In1982hesignedforAristaRecordsandmadehisfirstsoloalbumKennyG.

Successcameslowlyatfirst,butduringthe1990sKennybecamewell-knownontheinternationalscene.HereleasedBreathless,hismostsuccessfulalbumsofarin1993,andin1994wontheBestArtistAwardatthe21stAmericanMusicAwardsheldinLosAngeles.
