Whatiscriticalthinking?

Toacertaindegree,it’samatteroflogic(逻辑)—ofbeingabletospotweaknessesinotherpeople’sargumentandtoavoidtheminyourown,italsoincludesrelatedskillssuchasdistinguishingfactfromopinionandassessingthesoundnessofevidence.

Inthebroadsense,criticalthinkingisfocused,organizedthinking—theabilitytoseeclearlytheirrelationshipsamongideas.71Thegreatestthinkers,scientistsandinventorshaveoftentakentheirinformationthatwasreadilyavailableandputittogetherdifferentlytoproducenewideasthat,too,iscriticalthinking.
