1.hydrocarbons(unburned).
2.Carbonmonoxide.

4.Nitrogenoxide.
5.Sulfurdioxide.
6.Phosphorus.
7.Leadandothermetal.

thecrankcaseventilationsystem,theevaporativeemissionscontrolsystem,theexhaustgasrecirculationsystemandthecatalyticconvertersystem.Inadditionaltotheseemissionssystem,somevehiclesincorporateanelectronicallycontrolledfuelsystem,whichfurtherreducesemissions.
Note:
Notallvehiclesareequippedwiththeseemissionsystems.
Crankcaseventilationsystem
Sincetheearly1960s,allcarshavebeenequippedwithcrankcaseventilationsystem.

Evaporativeemissioncontrolsystem
Theevaporativeemissioncontrolsystemisdesignedtopreventfueltankandcarburettorbowlvapoursfrombeingemittedintotheatmosphere.Fuelvapoursareabsorbedandstoredbyafuelvapourcharcoalcanister.Thecanisterstoresthemuntilcertainengineconditionsaremetandthevapourscanbepurgedandburnedbytheengine.
